Gentle Reminders
Halloween Party this Friday!
Families should have received a pre-order form for tickets to our Annual Halloween last week. One was sent home with each student so that you can get the "early-bird special" on ticket prices. If a form did not make it home, please click here to view and print it.
Please keep in mind that the Halloween party will be outside this year. As such, it is important for everyone to dress appropriately for the weather. We also still need parents to volunteer to help set-up the event and run the trunk-or-treat. If you are interested in lending a helping hand, contact Jen Edwards at jedwards@ststanschicago.org.
Weather Changes and School Dress Code
With the weather getting cooler and more wet, it is important that our students come to school appropriately dressed each day. Parents should know that unless there are rain showers or the temperature dips below 28 degrees, students will be going outdoors for their recess after lunch. Students need to dress in layers for school and wear attire that is in line with our school dress code. Please note that hooded sweatshirts are not to be worn on school Mass/prayer service days.
The following items are approved cold-weather items while inside the school building:
- V-neck Pullover Sweater
- V-neck Pullover Vest
- V-neck Cardigan Sweater
- Long-sleeved Dress Shirt
- Long-sleeved Polo Shirt
- Traditional Sweatshirt (Physical Education)
- Spirit Wear Sale Items (worn over traditional uniform)
This Week is Red Ribbon Spirit Week!
