To Lead Training at Prairie Lakes AEA
Do you work with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder?
Dr. Jesse Logue, board certified behavior analyst from One Vision Children's Autism Center, will lead a training from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 24 at the PLAEA office in Pocahontas around three evidence-based strategies:
- Discrete Trial
- Pivotal Response
- Natural Environment Intervention
The training will also focus on how to effectively address deficits in communication, behavior, joint attention, and social skills for students with ASD in preschool-second grade.
Educators, paraprofessionals, and PLAEA staff members who work with students with ASD in preschool-second grade are encouraged to attend.
Cost is $50, which includes lunch. If needed, snow make-up date will be Feb. 7 at the PLAEA office in Pocahontas.
