Golden Gate High School Updates

  1. The third Quarterly Benchmark Assessments (QBA3) are this week. These exams are designed to assess student mastery of curriculum to-date and help schools adjust instruction accordingly.

    Tues, 3/21 - Biology
    Wed, 3/22 - English 1 & 2 (Grades 9 & 10)
    Thurs, 3/23 - Algebra 1 & Geometry
    Fri, 3/24 - U.S. History

  2. SAC Meeting on Monday, March 27, 5:30 p.m.

  3. The 3rd Quarter ends this Friday, March 24. There is no school on Monday, March 27, for students.

  4. Weekly phone, email, and text dialers for students who have a D or F in one or more classes are sent out each Tuesday. Make a plan to sit with your student once a week to review grades and assignments in the Focus. You can access it through the CCPS Parent Portal or have the student access it through Canvas. Have your student come up with a plan to improve grades. Communicate with the teacher if you have questions about your student's grades or assignments.
