Bolton Hill Nursery Goes to the Movies

Monday, Dec. 29th, 4pm

1711 N Charles St

Baltimore, MD

On Monday, December 29th, the Charles Theatre will be hosting another Afternoon at the Movies fundraiser for Bolton Hill Nursery. Families and friends are welcome as we gather together to watch An American Tail. The final details are being ironed out, but tickets will be available soon. (Look for an email announcement as well as a post on Facebook in the upcoming week.) So tell your friends and neighbors and make a day of it!

We've had many friends out this week due to fevers, colds and more. Please be sure to review the school's sick policy. The teachers are doing their part to keep germs to a minimum; we ask that you please do the same. Thank you for understanding.

So here they are in no particular order- the staff photos from the Thanksgiving Pageant! Sorry for the delay. We hope that you enjoy them. (Sorry, video's still in the works. There's only so many hours in the day...)

ANNUAL FUND LETTER... a message from Ms. Louie

Earlier this week, teachers distributed BHN's Annual Fund letter to the parents. We are hoping to have 100% family participation for every little bit helps. We want to avoid tuition increases-our tuition is right about in the middle and our program is the best! Donations provide support and continuing education for staff among other needed things.

(A special shout out to all the folks that came to stuff envelopes for the friends and neighbors of BHN: You guys are amazing!)

With Tax Time approaching, please contact Ms. Louie if you would like to receive an in-kind donation letter for items donated during Festival on the Hill.

Let us entertain you! That's the tune that the Redbirds have been singing all week as they explored entertainment further. On Monday we made our very own Trailer Name Plates (you can see them above our cubbies) and then we explored what it means to be a Mime! The entertainment unit ended with a celebration as the Redbirds attended their very first Oscar Award Ceremony! Dressed to impress and ready to delight the Redbirds arrived at the award show in style! They learned about the history of the Oscar, who receives the award and how to give an acceptance speech! They'd like to thank Bolton Hill Nursery (the academy) for recognizing their fantastic talents!
