Happy Friday!

Next week is our conference week! We are looking forward to meeting and sharing about your children's progress during conferences. Please make sure you have connected with your child's teacher and have a scheduled conference time.


Due to conferences, we will be releasing students at 11:15am every day next week.

Veteran's Assemblies

We are looking forward to honoring our Veterans this year with grade level assemblies. We hope you and your families can join us.

We earn money for our library with the support from all of you for our book fair. Your child should be coming home with information about how your child and your family can shop our book fair next week.

Water Bottles Reminder

Please send your child to school with a refillable water bottle each day. Students will be drinking from these water bottles throughout the day, as our drinking fountains will not be accessible due to COVID precautions.

Are you interested in Volunteering?

We are looking forward to offering the opportunity to volunteer in our school this year. We will have safety protocols in place for all volunteers at our school.


Volunteers will be required to do the following:


  • Wear a mask
  • Check-in at front office
  • Temperature check
  • Complete attestation form
  • Sanitize hands frequently
  • Sanitize work station when complete
  • Go directly to one specific location and return
  • Be cleared from District Office to volunteer
  • Volunteers must be fully vaccinated by October 18th

Hockinson Heights Elementary

All students will be proficient in reading by the end of second grade and maintain proficiency until the end of fifth grade, because we believe reading is the key for all students to achieve their dreams.
