Troubleshooting Help?

Are you trying to help a student log in or solve a problem? Remember, you can check out our District Troubleshooting page for common login and support questions. If you don’t find the resource you’re looking for-- please reach out to your student’s teacher.

BrainPop-- New District Subscription

CCSD15 now has a district wide subscription to BrainPop for Schools! This awesome tool has been used by some teachers and schools in the past, but now the whole District has full access to this great tool-- including students at home.

Your student may already have a BrainPop login that they know, or can create a login with a code from their teacher. If your child doesn't know or doesn't have a login ask their teacher for help. Sometimes teachers assign work (videos, games, learning activities) that students complete, but kids can also access learning, videos, games and more-- on their own!

This valuable tool can be used to complete work (if assigned by a teacher), learn about new topics, explore seasonal or date based topics (such as the Apollo 11 Moon landing, or the origins of Diwali), or reinforce already learned subjects. Go check out all of the great resources BrainPop has to offer, and take advantage of this district subscription.

How to Use BrainPOP at Home

Wide Open School-- a Learning Resource for Families

Wide Open School is a division of Common Sense Media, with resources geared specifically for students, teachers, and families who might be learning at home. This fantastic resource has learning for almost all subjects, and is searchable by grade level and subject. A great aspect of Wide Open School is the consistency and accessibility of materials-- for learners of all ages. All resources are created with kids in mind, and can be a great resource to families learning at home. Check out the link below!

Connecting to Google Meet or Zoom as a Participant?

From parent-teacher conferences and beyond, from time to time you may have the opportunity to connect with a CCSD15 teacher or administrator with Google Meet or Zoom. Click below for instructions (in English and Spanish) on connecting in this way.

Need support?

If you are having issues with a student Chromebook (won't charge, won't start up, login issues) please contact your student's teacher or school office. They will be able to properly route you to the best assistance. Please remember that restarting your student's Chromebook is also a great way to do some basic troubleshooting at home. Click here for a quick video on how to restart your Chromebook!
