REFLECTIONS FROM YOUR PTSA
A LOOK BACK:
- Our PTSA and the school year are off to a great start! September began our PTSA membership drive and we introduced the online membership enrollment system, making it even easier to join our PTSA.
LOOKING AHEAD:
- We are wrapping up the Save Around coupon book sales, however you can place an order anytime by visiting this website and ordering directly. The PTSA receives 50% of each book sold, so please support our biggest fundraiser of the year by purchasing for either yourself or as a gift!
- Mother-Son Night at the PES is on Friday, 10/28. Forms have been sent home with the students- please don't forget send in your registration form by 10/21!
- As always, we encourage you and your family members to join and/or renew your PTSA membership. It's simple to do, only $5 per person annually and membership does NOT mean you must volunteer!
Next PTSA Meeting

Community Reading Partnership
Help spread literacy in our community! A Volunteer Bookshelf Supervisor is needed by the Community Reading Partnership to oversee “Guardian” volunteers who stock 15 to 20 active Little Red Bookshelves in the Canandaigua area with free books.
This person should be reasonably familiar with children’s books and able to oversee the processing of books donated at locations in Canandaigua schools. The Bookshelf Supervisor sits on the Community Reading Partnership Board which meets monthly at the library.
To express interest, contact CRP President Mary Ferris, c/o Wood Library, 134 North Main St. Canandaigua, NY 14424 or email CRP at communityreadingpart@gmail.com
