International Women's Day
Malala Yousafzai
Why is she insperational to me ?
She is inspiring to me as she is not afraid to stand up for what shew thinks is right. She has changed the world for the better. Helping equality in men and women in the right of education and everyone else. Malala was the only person in Pakistan who wanted to be educated who changed the world and survived through getting shot when she was only thirteen. This has taught me to stand up to what I think is right and not be afraid of what is going to happen to me all the time, take a chance and see what happens.
Malala said -
"I didn't want my future to be imprisoned in my four walls and just cooking and giving birth"
Malala recovering
Malala was sent to the hospital in Birmingham as hospitals in Pakistan were no way near as advanced as the UK.
Malala
She says so many inspiring things like the one above. This is inspiring to me as it shows that she does not live life and take risks she does it for other people who is to scared to speak fore them selves.
Malala's story ...
Malala was born on the 12th July 1997 in Mingora, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. In Pakistan women where not aloud to get an education. The women's job was to cook, clean, give birth, look after the children. By the time she was 12 she wanted to go to school and get an education like all the boys and men. Anyone who went against the rules was shot or even worse killed. She took that risk and stood up for what she thought was right. Malala new the consequences, that most probably would take her life. When she went ahead and stood up for herself,Taliban shot her in the head and she struggled to keep her life. Shew was flown over to the UK where she went to Birmingham hospital as the UK were not as advanced as Pakistan. She now lives happy and healthy in Birmingham with her family.
