Field Trip: April 10, 2019
This information from Mrs. Young is to spark interest about a possible upcoming field trip! Mrs. Young would like to take a group of students to DPAC for a matinee of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief: The Musical. The field trip would take place on April 10, 2019 at 1:00pm and the group would leave Tar River at noon. We would provide transportation to the theater. At this time, the tickets seem to be around $34.50 for the group to all sit together. Chaperones are also necessary, but please know that seating is limited on the bus. Please indicate if you are interested in your child attending and/or if you are interested in chaperoning on this form.
PLEASE NOTE: the price may fluctuate a bit with ticket fees and bus fees.
Hope all the kids can attend this wonderful outing. This is the kind of thing that makes school fun! If you have difficulty paying for the trip, please contact Dr. Wrenn to work out arrangements for scholarships.

A Message from Principal, Dr. Vanessa Wrenn
We are headed into the full second week of the Spring semester. Please make sure you are completing all assignments. Lack of completing assignments is what makes most students not pass a course.
Report cards will be sent out on Feb. 5. Please set up a conference with your teachers as needed.
Labs and Tutoring
Students may work in a lab at the Northern Granville campus on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in Room 329. Beginning Friday, February 8th, students can work in a lab on the Southern end of the district at the Tar River Elementary School Community Center.
Attention all Juniors!
Granville Academy students in the 11th grade will be taking the ACT on February 20, 2019 beginning at 8:30am at Granville Central High School in room 2500!
