Spain's Christmas
By: Braxton Moore
Main Tradition
Most families in Spain go to a midnight mass or 'la Misa Del Gallo' ( the mass of the rooster) it is called that be because a rooster supposedly crowed the night Jesus was born
Few different languages are spoken in different regions in Spain. In Spanish Happy/Merry Christmas is 'Feliz Navidad'; in Catalan it's 'Bon Nadal'; in Galician 'Bo Nadal'; and in Basque (or Euskara in basque) 'Eguberri on'.
Compared to my Christmas
Christmas at my house is a very different instead of staying up all night going to mass Christmas Eve we all open one Present and go to bed. In the morning we get up and open our present that "Santa" brought us then what are parents got us.
