Happening this week...
It was a great week back. Three week grade reports will be available this week. Please be sure to review grades in Skyward. This will be the last week of full instruction before exam reviews begin. Please see any teachers during their posted tutorial times below to get the extra help you need to have the best grade possible.
Semester exam reviews will be available this week. . For many, this will be the first time to experience semester exams. Semester exams are calculated in as 1/7th of the semester average.

3d printing is available for 10 cents per gram (minimum $1.00). 3D prints may be ordered HERE
Eggbot Christmas ornaments are available for $2.00 each. Proceeds from 3d printing and ornaments help fund items for the makerspace!

Students will wrap up our current unit: Kid Tested. Market Approved. Final products are due on Monday, December 5th. Students will also reflect on their products by promoting their product through a persuasive composition.

We will begin exploring architecture with interactive and hands on activities. We will also begin a review of the semester.

Accelerated Science ~ Mrs. Irons
The Review for the Semester Exam will be in Google Classroom, Monday, December 5
Students will begin a new unit, “Get Mooned”, over the seasons, tides, and lunar phases
Mrs. Irons will be out Wednesday and Thursday in Training Meetings, but will be accessible by email and Google Classroom. No tutoring Thursday.

Our unit test over ratios and rates will be on Friday, December 9th. Students will continue working on their Review Galore Unit in estudio on Monday and Tuesday. The final products/presentations will be due on Wednesday, December 7th.

This week, students will continue learning volume of cylinders, cones, and spheres. There will be a knowledge check over all three shapes on Friday. Please be sure to take care of any missing assignments or corrections!

- We will conclude our South America unit this week. Rain forest cartoon strips will be due at the end of on Monday.
- December 7, we will TEST over the South American geography and the rain forest conflict.
- Students will continue build plot structure and inferring skills based of excerpts from the novel Journey to the River Sea.
Art ~ Mrs. Beam
This week, will continue to work on our “The Longest Line” project that focuses on technical drawing skills, shape, color theory and value.
Beginning Band ~ Mr. Sypert
Winter concert is on Tuesday December 6th at BHS begins at 6:30pm.
Mandatory after school rehearsals are on Friday December 2nd and Monday December 5th in the SMS Band/PE Center from 4-5:45.
