Women's Equality Club Visits Southwest Business Corporation (SWBC)
The Women’s Equality Club (WEC) at Roosevelt High School is full of agents of change looking for every opportunity to serve their community.
The group recently visited the Southwest Business Corporation (SWBC) to discuss the importance of inclusivity and women in leadership roles. Students got to speak with SWBC Co-Founder and President Gary Dudley.
SWBC surprised our students with a $500 donation.
“We will be using this money to purchase products for our ongoing Sanitary Products Drive, as well as donating some of the funds to women's shelters around San Antonio,” said Ava Schreier, WEC President. “There aren't enough words to describe the caliber of gratitude we feel for this opportunity.”
Thank you to SWBC for this generous donation helping Roosevelt’s WEC continue its mission of advocating for positive changes in and out of the classroom.
