STEM Integrated Learning Team (ILT)

STEM Integrated Learning Team (ILT) meetings will give teachers the opportunity to work collaboratively within an integrated STEM learning environment. This learning will include work in three strategic areas-

Modeling in Math and Science: ILT days 1-3

  • Modeling in Michigan instructor and teacher Don Pata will come to the EUP for three days of exciting learning with an emphasis on both Math and Science! Don facilitated a one day workshop for us last year and the feedback was tremendous. Don is in high demand across the state, and we are fortunate to have him in the EUP for three days this year! See more about the Modeling in Michigan program HERE.

STEM Community Connections: ILT Days 4-5

  • Teachers will work with STEM professionals from the EUP MiSTEM Advisory Council to align STEM education with career paths. We made very meaningful connections with local business and organizations last year and look forward to expanding our reach this year.

Innovative STEM Programming: ILT Days 4-5

  • Teachers will work in collaborative PLC teams to apply Problem-Based Learning and Place-Based Learning Principles to develop integrated STEM lesson plans. This will allow teachers to work together on common projects with colleagues in the region.
