Davis/Martin Peek at the Week
November 27 - December 1
Dear Parents,
We hope everyone had a restful Thanksgiving break. Having the entire week off to spend with our loved ones was a special treat! We are back in the swing of things for the next 3 weeks until Christmas break.
Please read below to see what we will be covering this month and when any quizzes/tests may be. We do have several different activities taking place, so you will want to look at the upcoming dates, too.
Your child should have brought home his/her mid-quarter report. This should be signed and returned as soon as possible. The second quarter ends Friday, December 15th.
In the spring, 5th grade will participate in end of the year state testing called the ACT Aspire. To prepare for these assessments, students will be taking interim tests on Thursday and Friday. They will be taking the English and Reading tests on Thursday and the Math and Science tests on Friday. Please support your child by sharing words of encouragement!
