Appreciation Weeks & No School Friday
This week is staff appreciation week and I would encourage you and/or your child to use this opportunity to thank the educators at Patterson that you are grateful for. Think about staff that have had a positive impact on your child. From the classroom to reading group, recess to the lunchroom, specialist and support staff, we are fortunate to have such a caring, hard-working and experienced team of educators!
You can use this link to view our staff list with emails or have your kiddos write a note or verbalize their appreciation. Please email Mrs. Lentz if you need someone not listed.
We will be celebrating all of our wonderful volunteers on Wednesday, May 11th. We recognize that it has been challenging to volunteer during the pandemic and we are truly grateful for every support and act of service in support of our school and community. We will have a small token of our appreciation ready for each volunteer throughout the day, at dismissal/pick-up and at our Booster Club meeting that evening. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
This Friday students do not have school - this is a student and staff support day and staff will be at Patterson engaging in professional devlopment and preparing.
Here to serve,
Jamie Lentz
Principal, Patterson Elementary

2022-2023 Class Configurations
You may already know that configurations can change over the summer (and even during the school year) based on actual student enrollment. Here is what we are currently planning for:
Kindergarten - Henningsen, McCoy
K/1 Blend - Thompson
1st Grade - Gurske, Volk
2nd Grade - Giard, Portinga
3rd Grade - Delplanche, Godsey
4th Grade - Crackel, Merritt
5th Grade - Brock, Wear
5/6 Blend - Kreisher
6th Grade - James, McClain
We are grateful to have stable enrollment at this point and that we are able to retain all of our classroom teachers at Patterson.
While we do not accept specific teacher requests, we do encourage parents to provide input in the form of an environmental input form (linked below). These are due on May 31st to be considered. Each grade level, along with our support specialists, will work together to place students into balanced classes. Please respect our teacher's time and focus on this year's classroom and students by not reaching out regarding placement in a specific class.
