We had a great week at Walden School. Our students participated in their first fire drill on Wednesday. They did an excellent job following the expectations and protocols. We are also in the midst of taking our Fall MAP test. The reports will be sent home at the beginning of October.

We also enjoyed our time together at the ice cream social on Thursday evening. Thank you to our PTO for organizing such a fun back to school get together!

Party volunteers help to plan, coordinate, and run the parties in the classroom throughout the year. Please remember ONE party per family per classroom.

DPS 109 uses photos and videos of students and staff to tell the district’s story! The district also maintains directory information and shares it with our parent-teacher organizations and other District-connected organizations so that they can keep parents in the loop with important information (such as school lunch ordering, after-school enrichment, and other events, volunteer opportunities, and educational trips for middle school students). We use an opt out system to maintain these permissions.
