North Korea was very well prepared so South Korea was at a disadvantage. South Korea called in many allies including the United States. It went on until July 27th, 1953 when the two countries made an armistice agreement.

Current event
Racism is a problem in South Korea because a lot of foreigners are moving to their country and they are not used to all of the diversity. People are getting more used to the mix ethnicity marriages and by 2020 mixed marriages will be very popular.
Economic success
Pros:Yes I feel like their economy is successful because there neighboring communist country as one of the lowest per capita gdp's while they have have one of the highest in east Asia.
