Prairie dogs are rabbit sized. They live under ground. Foxes eat prairie dogs. Prairie Dogs are herbivores. Lynx are skilled hunters. They also hunt at night. They eat mice, ground squirrels, and hares. Lynx have a few predators, wolves, fishers, bobcats, and coyotes eat lynx.
Environmentalist
There is a concern that to much people are building barns and stuff, and there is only a couple grasslands in the whole world. It's also bad for the animals because they eat the grass to. We can protect and restore grasslands which is important for our grasslands. There is a another concern that livestock is eating to much grass and the grass is grouping up. And it is bad because one day there will only be a couple groups of grass and the grasslands will be endangered. We can help by feeding livestock different food. The last concern is huge droughts and floods, grasslands are losing there wetlands such as prairie potholes due to droughts and droughts and floods are making a greater risk for severe wildfires. Also, a greater risk of disease and insect pets. People play a big role in droughts if we use to much water from times of a waterfall we might not have enough water for the droughts. We can help by creating more places where flood waters can be held back or stored.
