Principal's News

For most of us when we are fighting a head cold and losing our voices the thought of marshalling kids into race groups, outside in the sun all day, wouldn’t be the top of our list of thing to do……But I am glad that's how I was able to spend my day yesterday! What a delight it was to be a part of such a wonderful day.

Our incredible staff who did everything from coordinating, setting up and running the event to the parents who cooked snags and timed races all day, to the amazing kids we have swimming and cheering as if their lives depending on it! Yesterday was another opportunity where our ‘Trinity Way’ and our ‘Trinity Community’ were shining bright. I will never tire of seeing our students get in the pool and help their peers to complete a race, those who prefer not to swim working all day helping to serve food to others and the house captains taking on a role coordinating their house. Without a doubt, student learning is the heart of a school’s purpose. But more and more so, as we learn about education in the 21st Century and beyond, the ability for children to have experiences like they had yesterday as an integral part of their ongoing education, is so valuable! Our students are great people, they are amazing learners but more than that they are caring and supportive, contributing community members!

Thank you to everyone who was involved in our carnival and to those students, staff and parents who will be involved in our Prep – Year 2 event next week. Trinity is a great place to be, our Trinity community is a great place to be!
