Class of 2022- Senior Newsletter
GRADUATION & POST SECONDARY PREP INFORMATION
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS & CREDIT CHECKS
To graduate from Lakeville South a Senior needs to successfully meet credit and testing requirements.
A document entitled, "Credit Check" is a one-page summary of all requirements for each class designated by year of graduation to help guide a student in this process. The credit check illustrates the 44 semester credits needed by curricular area, the career portfolio activities to be completed in grades 9-12, and the standardized testing requirements for graduation. Students must meet all the essential components in order to earn a diploma and participate in graduation ceremonies.
We highly encourage Seniors to use their transcript on Infinite Campus to go through their credit check form to ensure they are on track for graduation. If there are any questions in regards to credits, please contact your grade level Dean.

Not sure where to start at all? We have a great tool called MCIS, the MINNESOTA CAREER INFORMATION SYSTEM.
All Lakeville South students have an account through MCIS. This resource is packed with tools for future planning! In MCIS students can search for schools based on majors, size, cost, interests, extra curriculars, location. etc.
MCIS also has tools to research short term training, military and apprenticeship opportunities.
