Instructional Reminders
I would suggest that you check before you begin math each day with your class to make sure they have all their materials and worksheets so you don't have to stop during instruction. Think about things like markers and white boards. I have seen us using a lot of instructional time getting supplies and materials to kids. Keep those routines tight by following the times below:
Routines (5 minutes)
Problem of Day (10 minutes)
Spiral Review (5-10 minutes)
Fact Fluency (5 minutes)
Also, you all have added RIGOR questions in your plans. Please make sure you are exposing your students to at least one or two of those questions in small group or whole group.
