This week we will also be taking our first NC Check Ins for students in grades 3-5. Tomorrow is our deadline for our Fall Box Top Collection so please send in all BOX TOPS tomorrow. Tuesday marks the end of the grading period, so make sure all assignments are turned in. Thursday is Halloween. Students may dress up for the Red Ribbon Week theme (Neon clothing & sun glasses); however, students should not wear their Halloween costumes to school. If you are going treat-or-treating, please be safe! Thursday is also the last day of the month, so please check lost & found. We have quite the collection of jackets already. Friday is also our Dairy Queen Spirit Night, our enrichment team will be serving up some ice cream from 4:00-8:00 pm. This Friday is also our SBHS Spirit Night- all SBES students get in the football game free. Don't forget to wear your Pirate gear and show your school spirit!
Here's a update from our PTO:
1. We made $44.48 for Sept Pizza Hut Spirit Night!
2. The first teacher luncheon is on Nov 13th. Please be on the lookout for a flier next week with all the information.
3. We are still collecting colored hair spray and small prizes from the kindergarten and 1st grade for the Spring Carnival. They can be turned into the front office.
4. It is not to late to purchase banners. We have sold 9 large and 6 small ones so far. We have 4 more spots for the large banners in the advertised space. Funds from this fundraiser will help us build an outdoor classroom! Please email SBESfallfestival@gmail.com for more information.
5. We are in need of wrapping paper for Santa Shop. If you would like to donate any, please turn it in to the office.
Thanks for all that you do to make SBES a great place to learn & grow!
Congratulations to our 5th grade track team! They came in 2nd place, losing to Sand Ridge by just 4 points! Great effort Pirates!
