Proud to Be Your Principal
We were so fortunate to be able to honor some local heroes during yesterday's Veterans Day assembly. Be sure to ask your student about it, and hear how they may have connected with the veterans.
We realize many families will be planning trips for hunting and the holidays in the coming week; please remember that we have pre-approved absence forms on our website, or you can pick one up in the office. Please have your student turn in their absence form at least a couple of days before they plan to be gone.

Upcoming Dental Screening
November 17 & 18 - Sealants & dental screenings,
2nd & 6th grades
This is a free preventative dental sealant program which is funded by the Wisconsin Seal-A-smile, a collaborative program of Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin and Wisconsin Department of Health services. The program includes: assessment to determine if sealants can be done, sealants if appropriate, fluoride treatments, and tooth brushing instructions. A follow-up letter will be sent home to describe what was completed and recommended for future needs. Students who were in 2nd and 6th grade last year and participated will be re-checked to determine if more sealants need to applied. Your student should have brought home a permission slip to be signed. Please have the permission slip signed and turned in no later than November 11.
Any questions, please contact the nurse Pam Holtz at (715) 356-5206, x2204 or pholtz@mhlt.org.

Family Movie Night
Holy Family Catholic Church invites families with young children to attend a FREE Friday Family Movie Night TONIGHT at 6:00 pm. This month’s movie is about a friendship between a dinosaur and a boy and their adventures. This fun-filled movie is free and reservations are not necessary. Because licensing regulations prevent the church from publicizing the name of the movie, please call (715) 356-6284 to find out which movie is being shown.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Children are encouraged to bring pillows and/or blankets for movie viewing. Popcorn is provided by the church, and families are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic, family-friendly beverages. There is no charge for the movies or the popcorn! Donations are always welcome and appreciated. Just come and have a great time!
Holy Family is located at 8950 County Highway J in Woodruff. For more information, call (715) 356-6284.
