CALLING ALL SUPERHEROES!!!
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!!!
I hope that you have all enjoyed your weekend!
I look forward to showing my appreciation to you throughout this upcoming week. To start off, I'd like to invite you all to wear jeans all week! Please save your superhero shirt for Tuesday so that we can wear it in support of our students who will be taking their EOC tests.
On Tuesday and Wednesday of this week our HS students will be taking the US History, Algebra I and Biology EOC please make sure to be familiar with the emails that Mrs. Wisnoski has sent so that you are prepared.
In order to keep you up on what has been happening I would like to share that teacher interviews have been taking place in order to fill our open positions. I made recommendations to Ms. Goolsby and on Friday morning those teachers came in to sign their contracts. Those teachers are as follows: Mrs. Soltow (JH Rdg/ELA), Mr. Henson (HS ELA), Mrs. Anderson (HS Technology). Also, I offered a position for recommendation to Mrs. Lara (JH Math). Two other positions have been offered for recommendation however, they currently have interviews with other districts this week and want to go to those interviews before making a decision. Those positions are for the Spanish and HS Science position. I am excited for you to meet these amazing professionals!
I will continue to keep you updated as more hires are made.
If your room is being used for testing please make sure to have your rooms testing ready. All rooms need to be ready by the end of the day on Monday. If you are not testing or you are testing in a room that is not yours, please check with your neighbor or the teacher who the room belongs to in order to ask if they need help with covering items or taking things down.
Also, please remember to turn in your AFD forms a week ahead of time if you know you will be out.
