This Week's "PAWS" For A Great Book Moment!
This week's PAWS for a great book moment comes from 2nd grader Ryleigh Chadwick. She is recommending the book Sideways Stories from Wayside School written by Louis Sachar and illustrated by Adam McCauley. This book is about a silly school that is super long. It tells about all the crazy characters in this school. From Mrs. Gorf, the teacher that turns students into apples, to Todd the kid that always get into trouble this book tells about them all. She liked this book because it is super funny. If you would like to read this book check it out at the library.
Congratulations to our March Leaders of the Pack!

Hemlock Youth Baseball and Softball Park Clean-Up
Saturday, April 13th from 10am until 2pm will be our annual park clean up.
Any volunteers would be greatly appreciated! The more kids and parents that we can get to help clean up the ball fields the better.
This is also a great way for students to earn some volunteer service hours.
Bring your rakes, leaf blowers, tarps, wagons, work gloves, and an appetite! We will provide hotdogs for lunch!
This year we will also be doing some really great things for the ball fields but we can REALLY use some specialty volunteers. Any volunteers that have experience with the following, please call Jason Wenzel (989) 385-1917
· Concrete
· Metal Roofing
· Painting
· Landscaping
We hope to see you on the 13th!!!
