College Application Steps
Steps for Seniors to follow
1. PreApplication
You can attend Community Colleges and get a certification, associates degree or just take classes to transfer into a 4 year degree. A 4 year degree is also called a Bachelor's Degree and undergraduate degree.
In San Antonio we have the Alamo Community Colleges - there are 5 - Northwest Vista, San Antonio College, Northeast Lakeview, Palo Alto and St. Philip's, research the majors each offers.

2. College Applications
University and College applications are open. The earlier you apply the quicker you will get an acceptance. There are also Scholarship deadlines with the colleges, make sure you know those.

3. Ordering Your Transcripts
Keep in mind, after you graduate, you will need to request a final transcript as well!
3A. Dual Credit Transcript Request
You will also need to order Dual Credit/OnRamps transcripts. Northwest Vista, St. Philips are both done through your ACES account and OnRamps is done through your UT Account.
Again, you will also need a final transcript in June to be sent to the college/university you have chosen to attend.
