Westside Show Choir Camp
Have you always wanted to be a part of Westside show choir? Maybe you want to improve your voice or learn how to shake those bad dancing habits? Sorry parents, this ad is just for the kids. Westside Middle School is hosting their annual summer show choir camp June 7-11 at Westside Middle School for any student entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade in the Fall of 2021. Students will learn to sing and dance a full show as well as gain insights into the audition process for Westside Middle School Show Choir. Registration and more information can be found at the website: https://sites.google.com/westside66.net/westside-middle-school-choirs/edge-show-choir-camp.
PBIS - Looking for Donations!
In Westside Community Schools, we use a framework called Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, or PBIS, to promote positive behaviors throughout our schools. At WMS, we have a "Warrior Buck Store", where students can trade in tickets for rewards. In efforts to "up the ante" and offer more than the usual candy and pop, we are excited to introduce raffle items! This is where you come in...
We are looking for donations of Westside gear, IPad pencil cases, water bottles, gift cards, or anything else that would suit a raffle for our middle school students. Cash or check donations are always awesome, too; we can purchase items we know students will love! Please drop any donations at the front office.
We will also be raffling the opportunities to win competitions with teachers or teams during pep rallies, and opportunities to win spirit days for the whole team! There's a lot of fun to be had at Westside Middle School celebrating amazing positive behaviors from amazing students!
