Weekly Zoom Meetings Link
I have set up a reoccurring Meeting Time for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4-5 pm.
You will find it in your e-mail!
*Monday's meeting the students will need to bring the book they are reading and be ready to give a quick book talk on what it's about.
*Wednesday they will need to bring a ruler or some sort of measurement tool like a tape measure.
*Friday they will need to bring a map of any sort or globe.
Lessons for March 30-April 3
Language Arts
Task 1: Log onto Epic and read the book assigned to you called Money and complete the quiz
Task 2: The Storm Chapter 1 Go to the following link to watch Chapter 1- re watch if you'd like
Task 3: Answer this question in your journal:
How would you feel living alone at a lighthouse for 4 years?
Task 4: Read for 20 minutes, record in your journal what you read and the pages you read, for example: Diary of a Wimpy Kid p. 45-58
Optional: Go to Student K-5 Links and log onto Lexia for 15 minutes
Math- Lessons 9.1-9.2- Centimeters and Estimating length
Task 1: You will need your skinny math book (the black and white one) p. P205 and P207, a ruler and something to write with. Follow this link for the Lesson
Task 2: Fill your green circle on Reflex Math
Task 3: Do the pages in the chunky Go Math Book that correspond with Lesson 9.1-9.2 p. 435- 436 and 439-440 only use a ruler not cubes!
Tuesday
Language Arts
Task 1: Log onto Epic and read the book assigned to you called Time
Task 2: The Storm Chapter 2 Go to the following link to watch Chapter 2- re watch if you'd like
Task 3: Make your prediction of what will happen to Seabold in your journal. Start your sentence with, " I predict that......."
Task 4: Write Mrs. Walker a letter! Include a heading (the date), a greeting, indent your first line, include at least 6-8 sentences, end it with a closing and remember your CHOPS!!

Task 5: Read for 20 minutes and record it in your journal like you did yesterday, the book title and the pages you read
Optional: Go to Student K-5 Links and log onto Lexia for 15 minutes
Math- Lessons 9.3- Measure with a centimeter ruler
Task 1: Complete p. P209-210 in your skinny math book and p. 443-444 in your chunky math book. You will need your ruler and something to write with
Task 2: Find 15 things outside (inside if the weather does not permit) and measure them to the nearest centimeter
Task 3: Fill your green circle in Reflex Math
Optional: Go onto Prodigy for 15 minutes
Wednesday
Language Arts
Task 1: The Storm Chapter 3 Go to the following link to watch Chapter 3- re-watch if you'd like
Task 2: *Answer the following questions in your journal:
1. What happened to Seabold?
2. Who is taking care of him?
3. What does it mean to migrate and what is an example of an animal that migrates?
*Number and write out the questions, check your answers for CHOPS.
Task 3: Handwriting Practice- Do one row of your neatest lower case and capital a's, b's, and c's in your journal
Task 4: Read for 20 minutes, record in your journal what you read and the pages you read, for example: Diary of a Wimpy Kid p. 45-58
Optional: Go to Student K-5 Links and log onto Lexia for 15 minutes
Math- Lessons 9.4- Add and subtract Lengths
Task 1: Go to the following link and watch the tutorial
Task 2: 1. Do p. 445-446 from your chunky math book 2. Do P211-212 from your skinny math book
Task 3: Workout Wednesday- Pick an exercise and perform that exercise while you skip count by 2's to 20, pick a different exercise for each of the following skip counts: 3's to 30, 5's to 100, and 10's to 200
Task 4: Fill your green circle in Reflex
Optional: Go onto Prodigy for 15 minutes

Language Arts
Task 1: The Storm Chapter 4 Go to the following link to watch Chapter 4- re watch if you'd like
Task 2: In your journal write and answer this question:
What makes Pandora and Seabold companions?
Task 3: Log onto Moby Max and complete the assignment Nouns- Collective Nouns that name Groups of People
Task 4: Read for 20 minutes, record in your journal what you read and the pages you read, for example: Diary of a Wimpy Kid p. 45-58
Optional: Go to Student K-5 Links and log onto Lexia for 15 minutes

Language Arts
Task 1: Log onto Epic and read the book called Patterns at the Sea Shore that's been assigned to you
Task 2: Follow along to the reading of Beach Postcards from the following link:
Task 3: In your journal write the definitions from the glossary of beach, grain, ocean, and shoreline
Task 4: Now, in your journal draw two lines to make your paper into four squares. In square 1 draw an example of a rocky beach, in square 2 draw a picture of a sandy beach, in square 3 draw a picture of a coral sand beach, in square 4 draw a picture of a beach with beach wrack. Label each beach, take a picture and send it to me by email, text, Facebook Messenger, or post it in Mrs. Walker's 2/3 Looper closed page!
Optional: Go to Student K-5 Links and log onto Lexia for 15 minutes
Math- Lessons 9.7 Measure and Compare Lengths
Task 1: You will need a ruler. Complete p. P217-218 in your skinny math book and p. 459-460 in your chunky math book
Task 2: Complete p. 219-220 in your skinny math book, Chapter 9 Extra Practice
Task 3: Finish up any work in Moby Max math lessons from yesterday or any math you haven't finished from the rest of the week
