Mesophyte valley is Located in the Atlantic Ocean. It is between two islands filled with trees and plants. Mesophyte valley was close to Africa. They traded and shared ideas with each other.
Time Period of Study
The time period of study is 2,520 BCE to 250 CE.
Famous Landmarks
There were a lot famous landmarks in Mesophyte valley. One of the famous landmarks was the stone statue of Zeus. It took the people of Mesophyte three hundred years to build the statue. The whole statue was made out of marble. Another famous landmarks was the castle of Hong. Hong is the person who created the Mesophyte form of writing. The castle was built with brick, marble, and rammed earth. It was built a lot like the Great wall of China. Another famous landmark is the garden of Persephone. The garden is a really huge place filled with crops and flowers. It is organized perfectly and it is mostly used as a food source. They need this because there is a lot of plants on Mesophyte valley but other animals can get to them first.
Jobs/Responsibilities for Men and Women
Men and Women had to do their Responsibilities or they would be killed or just have consequences. Men in Mesophyte valley had to build structures or castles. They also fought in wars and protected their civilization. The women in Mesophyte Valley didn't just clean and made clothes. The women also fought in wars along with the men. Men and Women were treated equally in Mesophyte Valley. Women also made structures along with the men. Men also painted art. Men were farmers as well to get food. Men also hunted for food in the wild.
Terrain/Environment
The terrain in Mesophyte valley had a lot of plants. There also was many rivers for the plants to grow. One river being slender speed river. It is called this because it is not very long in width and the current goes really fast. In Mesophyte valley most days were really hot and dry. Once in a long time it would storm really hard. Lightning would break houses and the men and women had to rebuild them.
Government
The government in Mesophyte valley is great. The military is fierce they will stop at nothing to protect their home. The government works by people guard almost all day to protect famous landmarks. The people would be put in training at the age of 25. It was very intense training but it helped. The soldiers carried a shield a spear and daggers. They liked to fight up close so they could attack with their daggers, but if they needed to they can throw their spears at long range. Men and Women can participate in the army.
Religion
Religion was very important to people in Mesophyte Valley. They believed in the Greek gods. The Greek religion was spread to them when Hong the creator of writing in Mesophyte Valley went on a boat to Greece and prophets told Hong of the Greek gods. They believed that The Titans were the rulers of the earth before the Olympians which are the main gods that we hear about today. The Olympian Gods were: Ares the god of war, Pan the god of shepherds and their flocks, Poseidon who was the ruler of the seas, Zeus the god of the sky and king of the gods. Hades was the god of the underworld, Demeter the goddess of grain, Hermes the messenger of the gods, Artemis the goddess of hunting, Aphrodite the goddess of love and beauty, and Athena the goddess of wisdom.
Famous People
One famous person is Hong. Hong is the person that brought the Greek Religion to Mesophyte valley. He also created the writing Hongeaform which is obviously stolen from Mesopotamia (cuneiform). He learned this because he traveled a lot. He was born in 4,030BCE. Another famous person is Bosh. Bosh was the first one to create the hammer. He was a architect who built structures.
Traditional clothing
In Mesophyte valley people wore rags and robes. Women wore robes as well as men. They also had a lot of similarities with clothes in Africa. Mesophyte valley also got skins of animals and draped them over their body as clothes. They wore tiger, bear and other kinds of animal skins.
What are they famous for?
The Mesophyte Valley civilization is famous for Men and women having equal rights. In other civilizations women just would clean and make clothes. In Mesophyte valley Women can build statues, and make money. Most importantly women could fight in wars. They were the first people to have men and women fight along side each other. Another thing they were famous for is their fierce armies. Men and women were put through training at the age of 25. The training was intense and they could fight at all distances.
