A message from the principal
We want to first take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to all of our families for your support during this unexpected transition to remote learning. Your encouragement for us and your support of your students’ learning while at home has been so appreciated during this challenging time. We could not have done this without you!
We are now turning our attention to the end of the school year. We have been working on plans to help our students retrieve their personal belongings and other items from school, and turn in district-owned items such as library books and Harrington Chromebooks. Our plan was created to allow for the most efficient and effective exchange of items while ensuring the safety and well-being of our students, families, and staff members. Your child’s teacher will be sending a Google Form to you at the end of the day Thursday we will need you to complete prior to returning the Chromebooks and picking up student supplies. If you have students in multiple grades, you may come to either child’s window. Then, you will be able to turn in Chromebooks and collect their materials.
Chromebooks Exchange - Family Options and School Directions
Families/students have the option to return Chromebooks to campuses May 20th if they:
don’t think they will be useful as a learning support over the summer and/or
don’t want to be burdened with the responsibility of keeping track of them and/or
no longer need them
If you believe having the Chromebook will be useful over the summer, you may keep the Chromebook and return it July 23-July 29th when Ms. Ward returns to campus.
Any devices not collected by May 20 must be returned to the campuses from which they were borrowed between July 23 and July 29.
Families will need to return Chromebooks on May 20th from students who are not going to return to Plano ISD or Harrington for the 2020-2021 school year. If you are a fifth grader you will also need to return your Chromebook on May 20th, 2020.
Please Note: There will be no Chromebook help during the summer months.
If you are not returning your Chromebook, students may come at the specified grade level time to pick up your student supplies (class pictures are included in the pickup) if you’d like the supplies. (See Schedule below).
Yearbook: Pick-up will be scheduled for next school year. More information to come.
Library Books: Not sure if you child has any library books checked out to them?

If your student wishes to participate and collect points toward the final score, please register using the form at this link: www.tinyurl.com/CMLhusky
The deadline for registering for the meet is Monday 5/18 at 12:00 noon. At that time I will send out instructions to the email address submitted on the form. If you have any questions please email me at joan.patrick@pisd.edu
