Where is Argentina?

Argentina is located in the lower half of South America and borders Bolivia, Brazil,

Chile, Paraguay & Uruguay.

So what is it's Capital? Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, Argentina’s big, cosmopolitan capital, is known for its European atmosphere, passionate tango and vibrant nightlife. Its center is the 16th-century Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace.

Any pastimes?

Argentinians play Fútbol or what is know as Soccer in America. They also dance the Tango, do horseback riding, fish, and ski.

Food?

Some common foods that you can find there are Asado, Chimichurri, Provoleta, and Dulce de leche which is the photo on the side

La Plaza de Mayo

The Plaza de Mayo is the main square of central Buenos Aires, Argentina. This place also historically important to Argentina since this is where the revolution against Spain began.

Iguazu Falls

A really famous tourist attraction in Northern Argentina is called the Iguazu Falls and are some of the most amazing, vivid waterfalls in the world. If fact, they were once voted into becoming one of the seven wonders of the world.

Cathedral of Our Lady of Sorrows

One of the beautiful and popular churches in Argentina is called the Cathedral of Our Lady of Sorrows which is located in La Plata, only 36 miles away from Buenos Aires

Mendoza's Aconcagua Provincial Park

-El Parque Nacional

Mendoza's Aconcagua Provincial Park is located near the Western border of Argentina and Chile. Aconcagua, one of the 7 tallest peaks in the world, can be located in this immense park.

Aconcagua- The 2nd Tallest Peak in the World

-La Montaña

Argentina is also host to Aconcagua, the 2nd Tallest Peak in the World, which is about 2000 ft. below Everest. Using certain routes, climbers can reach the summit without ropes or technical equipment.

In America, the Presidential house is known as the White House but in Argentina, it is known as the Casa Rosada which literally translates to the Rose House.

Mar de Plata

-La Playa

Mar de Plata is an Argentinean beach in the southeast part of Buenos Aires Province located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. When translated, Mar de Plata literally means Silver Sea.

Boca Junior Stadium

Maradona an International Soccer Player and is know by many as the Greatest Soccer Player of all Time had started playing for a team and scored a goal in the Boca Junior Stadium. A picture of the Stadium is below

This is a Latin American Art Museum which is located just North of Buenos Aires and holds modern 20th-century art.

This library is magnificent on the outside as well as in. There are 70,000 books and volumes available. This library also happens to be located in Buenos Aires

Mundo Marino is an amusement park. But. this isn't just any amusement park, this is the largest aquarium in South America.
