Conflicts

External: Daniel vs. the Nazis. Throughout the whole story Daniel and tons of others were against the Nazis. The Nazis did horrible acts to the Jews and other "impure" Germans.


Internal: Daniel vs. himself. When Daniel was watching people being burned in the crematorium, he was tempted to just give up right then and there and kill himself.
