2018 Charity Chili Cook-Off

The Young Lawyers Section of the JBA

The Heat Is On...!

You're invited to the 2018 Charity Chili Cook-Off hosted by the Jacksonville Bar Association Young Lawyers Section....and this year we're cooking up something good!

We're bringing chili, charity and community together on February 17, 2018 from 10am-3pm at the famed Riverside Arts Market (RAM) under the canopy of the Fuller Warren Bridge!

Is your chili the spiciest? meatiest? most original? topped with the best fixins'? paired with the best cornbread? Are you the "most spirited" team? We've got a prize for each, including one for the "crowd favorite" and "best overall"! Local state and federal judges put your chili to the test! The Cook-Off will also feature live music, drinks and other treats so bring the whole family out for a great time!

Entry fee of $150 per team required; registration ends Feb. 2nd. All proceeds will benefit RETHREADED, a charity working to fight human trafficking and support survivors of the sex trade on a local and global level. Rethreaded provides a safe, supportive work environment for survivors to earn money, forge business skills and create beautiful artisan items for sale (items available online @ www.rethreaded.com AND at the Cook-Off).

Head to RAM on Feb. 17th to vote for your favorite chili, support a great cause and spend some time with family and friends! And, keep the party going at the OFFICIAL AFTER-PARTY HOSTED BY BLACK SHEEP!
