WEEK OF JANUARY 11TH
Virtual Parent Meeting: Supporting our Eagles - Monday, January 11th
Our thoughts are with our students and their families as we process the recent trauma experienced when we witnessed the riot at the US Capitol, right in our local DC area. We will come together as an Argyle community at a special Virtual Parent Meeting on Monday, January 11. During this time we will share resources being used at the school and hear your thoughts about ways we can partner to ensure our students feel emotionally safe and supported.

ADVISORY PERIOD- Why It Is Important
Attendance at advisory at the end of each day is a daily requirement for ALL students. Attendance is taken in Advisory and students who do not attend are marked ABSENT.
The class occurs from 2:50 to 3:15 Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri on weeks with a normal schedule. Check the weekly newsletter for information on schedule changes. Lessons for the well being of students (ex: managing trauma, stress and mental health check-in) and announcements (ex: re-opening of schools, testing information) are given in Advisory. You do not want to miss out! See you in Advisory!
Encouraging our Eagles: Positive Behavior Interventions (PBIS)
