Cotton
Advantages - Cotton is soft and comfortable , it will not irritate skin , and doesn't contain any chemicals .
Disadvantages - when washing and drying it , it will shrink , it will pill easy , and the color will fade off the shirt .
Flax/Linen
Advantages - Everyone likes linen fabric , it is made from natural fibers , and the price is low .
Disadvantages - can lose its charm if washed with hot water , wrinkles easy , and pattern clothing is a little more expensive .
Wool
Advantages - is durable , lasting for a long time , absorbent and healthy .
Disadvantages - cost, comfort, care and storage.
Silk
Advantages - natural protein structure , high absorbent , dries easy .
Disadvantages - expensive thing on the market , fades easy in sunlight , and stains are very noticeable .
Acetate
Advantages - manmade, very comfortable , made of cotton, silk and wool .
Disadvantages - cannot be washed at home , lose strength on prolonged exposure to water .
Rayon
Advantages - more absorbent then cotton , doesn't pill , and comfortable
Disadvantages - confusing when washing it , Alcohol, perfume, hairspray and urine may all lead to unsightly splotches that do not wash away.
Lyocell
Advantages - strong, absorbent
Disadvantages - Fibrillation : which happens due to surface rupturing, susceptible to mildew .
Nylon
Advantages - lengthy duribility , wears well , mixed with spandex
Disadvantages - melts easily , can be stretched to easily , stain quickly
Olefin .
Advantages - nice feel (“hand“), dyes easily, longevity, elasticity,
Disadvantages - : cost, stains easily (especially animal urine), dissolves in bleach
Polyester
Advantages - tough and rigid , processed ,
Disadvantages - low thermal resistance , poor solvent resistance
Spandex
Advantages - lightweight , stretchy , stronger then rubber
Disadvantages - nonabsorbent , heat sensitive ,
