It is a service that was created by the Wisconsin Department of Justice. The SUSO resource center will respond confidentially working collaboratively with community resources to help students and others get the help they need.

Arbor Day with the Fourth Grade
On April 30, Mother Nature gave us a warm, sunshine-filled day to host the fourth graders at Tracy Lake. The high schoolers taught the elementary kids the importance of habitat development and proper planting of tree seedlings. After the morning’s forestry lessons, we all
enjoyed a picnic lunch. We heard many positive comments from Ms. Szymik, Ms. Denney, Ms. Hilgart, and many fourth graders that we had a well-organized activity, and the kids had a great time. High schoolers learned how much preparation and energy it takes to teach fourth graders but said they want to share their work with elementary kids again. They’ll get their chance when
Mrs. Wolfe’s first graders come to visit on Tuesday, May 25!
More New Trees!
This past week students planted 200 elderberry, tamarack, black spruce, gray dogwood, American hazelnut, juneberry, alderberry, and red oak seedlings along the perimeters of five openings on the Tracy Lake property as part of their habitat diversification project.
