History
David Bowie is a talented musician that has been around for over 4 decades. He has made many popular songs and is renowned as an innovator of music because he influenced many different forms of music.David Bowie was known as a artist that could jump from different sounds and genres of music and sound great in each one.
He started to show interest at a very young age. At the age of 13, he actually started playing the saxophone. He was greatly influenced by his brother Terry who had a mental illness. As a result of his brother being put into an institution, it influenced his later songs. When he got out of high school, he worked as a commercial artist. Then, he joined a band called The Monkees. He then soon became a solo artist. However, when one of his solo albums didn't do to well, he exited the singing world for a while. After collecting him self for while, he came back into the music world and was better than ever.
Throughout his career he has been apart of many labels. This includes Dream, RCA,Virgin, EMIISO, Columbis, BMGP, and Pye. With these different labels, has received many different awards form his music including a Grammy.
David Bowie was known for his beauty which was an important aspect of his image. He was also well known for his distinct voice and intellectual depth in his music.
