Principal's Note
Dear Families,
Wow! We had a huge turn out for our first official PTC event of the year. Mr. Hayhurst was the emcee for Bingo. It was so fun to see everyone! There will be more events coming up this year. Please join us.
Conferences sign ups will be sent today. Parent teacher conferences in the Fall are an opportunity to work with your child's teacher to create academic goals for the year. Teachers are looking forward to spending this time with you.
If you have any questions please call or stop by. Office hours are 8:00-4:00, Monday-Friday.
Arrival and Dismissal
Thank you!! Arrival and dismissal is starting to really flow. I appreciate all the help following the procedures. It helps us keep everyone safe. If you arrive for dismissal before 3:05 please turn your car off. The idling is very strong for students and staff waiting for pick-up.

Book Fair coming soon!
Dear Parents and Families:
Get Ready! The Scholastic Book Fair is coming our way (YAY!). Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them to become bolder, prouder, and stronger readers. AND… as always, every book they buy earns rewards for our school.
Here’s what you need to know about the Fair, which will take place from 10/17-10/21 in Portable 5.
This year, say goodbye to cash and hello to eWallet—your child’s digital payment account. Before the Fair, set up eWallet for worry-free, cash-free purchases. Anyone can contribute! Share each child’s eWallet so friends and family can add funds and give your kids more books to enjoy.
If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school.Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping:

Art Literacy
We have an Art Literacy coordinator, Sarah Fantl. Thank you Sarah for stepping up. We have quite a few volunteers for the classroom lessons. But we could still use a few more. It is a great volunteering experience to work with the students in your child's classroom.
