A Note from Mrs. Cimek
Hello Baker Families,
Thank you for joining us for our Halloween Parade last week. It was wonderful seeing you and the look of excitement on so many little faces was priceless.
Recently we have seen another increase in student behaviors. PLEASE take a moment to remind your child they are to keep their hands to themselves. Thank you for partnering with us as we create a safe learning environment for everyone!
At school, your child is met with 4 questions when they begin disruptive or unsafe behavior:
1. What are you doing?
2. What should you be doing?
3. Are you doing it?
4. What are you going to do about it?
Feel free to use these questions at home as well!
Respectfully,
Rachel Cimek
We had some creative staff costumes at Baker on Halloween!

Distinguished Artist
Daluka is the Distinguished Artist for his colorful fall acorn. This was a multi-step project. Students first used different colored tissue paper to cover their acorn.. Then they carefully
cut it out. Once the acorns were glued we added a border around the edge with
torn paper. Daluka was chosen for his acorn for following all the steps,
using a variety of colors, and adding a beautiful border.
Way to go Daluka!

Literacy Night
WEPA Meetings
WEPA meetings take place once per month. On these evenings, we have the ability to vote on how money is allocated, receive updates from staff regarding schools, and be part of a problem-solving committee that truly focuses on our schools.
