Tournament of Books
This years picture book theme is "Turning Points"
We're hoping that, through our virtual platform, you can join in on the Tournament of Books by voting for your favorites each week.
Voting will take place Wednesday to Tuesday, and will begin on the following dates…
March 2-8 - Sweet 16
March 9-15 - Elite 8
March 16-22 - Final 4
March 23-29 - Championship round
Winner announced on Wednesday, March 30th!
Students will be reading the books, listening to teachers read the books and watching videos of the books being read, all throughout the month! To enjoy them at home, you can find most of them with a quick YouTube search!
Students will vote for their favorites by scanning a QR code that will be shared out to classroom teachers. They will choose their preferred book from each set. The winner of each round will be announced on the dates above.
Students will also fill out their own individual brackets for the chance to win a book! The top 3 students with the most points after the final round win! Students will do this with their teachers!
This year, we are again extending the voting to our families via Twitter. Families can read the books together and vote via the Google Form linked below.
Thank you for participating! We hope you have fun!
