If someone you know is Bulimic, telling them to just quit is never the solution. Make sure you are caring and understanding of how much they are going through.
Make a difference
Next time you go to joke around with someone about their appearance, remember your words have a huge impact.
It's a cycle
Bulimia doesn't just stop, its takes years of recovery.
Personal Statement
Why I chose Bulimia Nervosa
The reason I chose this topic is because some I know personally has struggled with Bulimia since she was 11 and her journey has definitely been extremely grueling and difficult for her. It’s extremely hard to know someone you think so highly of, could be going through something so brutal. She has definitely helped me learn more about this, and through my further research I learned so much more. Everyone should know about this disease because of how serious it is. Bulimia is no laughing matter, and is not an easy thing to deal with. Remember, just because you think someone is totally ok, doesn’t mean you’re totally right.
