The Inuit By : Kevin Cunningham The Inuit by Andrew Santella
Inuit eat seal meat and whales. They ride out to sea on umiaks, which are fast boats, and use harpoons to hunt whale meat. They ride out on the ice and scratch the ice with old seal claws to attract seals and then catch seals. Then they ride on their dogsleds back to their igloos. When they get back, they go over their hearth and cook the whale and seal meat. We do not cook whale or seal meat because we do not live in the Arctic like the Inuit.
