Frog Pond School Newsletter 2/2018
Volume 17-18 Issue 6
Mr. Troy Henderson, Principal
PRINCIPAL'S CORNER
Greetings Frog Pond Families,
While the weather is still cold outside, the learning and fun are heating up at the Frog Pond School. We will be hosting a Celebration Dinner on February 6th where we will celebrate all of the wonderful things that are happening in our District. Families from all three of our schools are invited to attend this wonderful event. Contact the main office to RSVP. Amazing activities continue in our STEAM Lab, and our second book fair of the year is underway. After school programs continue with a Book Cafe’ provided by Miss Donna of the Little Egg Harbor Branch of the Ocean County Library and a “Living on Planet Plankton” presentation by the Jacques-Costeau National Estuarine Research Reserve. We hope your student was able to take advantage of one of the many programs offered. We look forward to continuing these programs in the future.
I am also pleased to announce that we are able to provide every grade level with trips this year to the Grunin Theater as well as the Count Basie Theater. These trips began the end of January and will run through May to ensure each grade level is included. The district continues to explore grant opportunities and other means to provide extra exciting activities for our students.
