Eaglet Gazette
Enfield Head Start, Integrated Pre-K, PK STEAM Academy
May 13, 2022
Greetings SELC Families,
A huge shout out to our Head Start Program for completing a week long Federal Review! All co-located programs were incredibly supportive throughout the process and I cannot thank everyone enough! It takes a village!
Classrooms are currently busy with wiggling worms, sprouting seeds, and discussions around life cycles, Spring, and living and non living things!
COVID and other common childhood illnesses continue to persist as we head into the middle of May. I want to thank Nurse Jen for her diligence to the Enfield Public Schools health room practices (see below), her empathy with towards our Eaglets and families, and her diligence with following up to ensure our community stays as healthy as possible. I want to thank all of you for your patience as we navigate fevers, coughs, allergies, and upset tummies together. I truly appreciate you extending grace and empathy back to Nurse Jen when she calls.
