Principal's Pride
It is my pleasure to acknowledge the following students: Beau Folczyk, Tucker Gindt, Uriaha Hartman, Brooklyn Hladilek, Delton Kenealy, Austin Langel, Channing LeWallen, & Parker Matott for demonstrating helpfulness, kindness and a great desire to learn.
Beau saw a friend sitting on the buddy bench and went over to ask them to play. Way to be a great friend Beau!
Tucker is working so hard on becoming an independent learner. He continues to try his best when working on letter sounds and writing. Keep working hard Tucker!
Uriaha has been working so hard on becoming an independent learner. Keep up the good work Uriaha!
Brooklyn is working so hard on becoming an independent learner. I am so proud of her. Keep it up Brooklyn!
Delton has shown kindness to a new student we have. He has been helpful and tried to be a good friend.
Austin is working so hard on becoming a good friend to kids around him. He is so thoughtful. Keep it up Austin!
Channing has reached out to a new student we have. He is showing kindness and caring to her. Great job Channing!
Parker is a good helper in the classroom. I can count on him to help clean up and straighten chairs. He is a good example to the others when it comes to keeping the room nice and neat. Thanks for all your help Parker!

Superintendent of Cadott Schools, visited first grade on April 27th.
Mr. Smith read the book When Will It Snow? by Lisa Broadie Cook. The students laughed at how Martin made snowmen while waiting for the snow. The funny thing is we did see a few flakes of snow that day! We appreciated Mr. Smith taking time out of his busy day to read to the first-grade students.

4th Grade Musical
Dear parents and guardians of 4th grade students
You are invited to the 4th grade performance of the musical The Principal and the Pea. The musical will take place on Thursday May 4th and Friday May 5th at 11:45 in the Elementary music room and will last about 25 minutes. Inspired by the classic tale The Princess and the Pea, The Principal and the Pea takes place in a school where the much loved principal is retiring. The teachers can’t decide which new candidate to choose for their new principal, but why had no one asked the kids? The students devise their own taste test hoping to find the perfect fit “a grown-up who can’t stand peas”.
Cadott Elementary School Library is hosting a special summer reading program
This summer the Cadott Elementary School Library wants to help your child use reading to build a better world!
To help promote reading with students in our district over the summer months, the Cadott Elementary School Library will host a special summer reading program that will run from June 12th-August 17th to help your child keep active with and reward him/her for reading this summer. Students who participate in the “Build a Better World” reading program will earn unique dog tags for completing the program’s reading challenges. These dog tags will help students celebrate and show others all of the reading they have completed over the summer. Students who complete all of the summer reading challenges will be entered into a drawing to win a Kindle Fire Tablet!
For more information on the summer reading program, check out the “Build a Better World” Summer Reading Program letter and reading log/tracker today!
To enroll your child in the summer reading program (even if he/she will not attend summer school sessions), fill out the “Build a Better World” Summer Reading Program Sign-Up form OR send a note to Mr. Kotek in the Elementary LMC that your child would like to enroll in the program by Friday, May 26!
