The Greensboro Sit- Ins
By Kylie Martin
What Happened
On February 1, 1960 in Greensboro, North Carolina four men sat in at a lunch counter for whites only after they were refused service. They started a big deal because everyone was then doing it. Students would sit in then go to jail but as soon as they got out they would sit in again. They wouldn't stop until they got justice.
