Neptune is the 8th planet from the sun at the distance of 4,504,000,000 kilometers away.It takes 16 earth hours for one rotation and 165 earth years for one revolution. Neptune has 14 known moons that have been found so far. Neptune is made up of very thick, very hot combinations of water, ammonia, and methane over a earth size core. It is usually -392 degrease on a normal day on Neptune. Interesting facts: It is the 4th biggest planet in our solar system and it also has 6 rings. It rains diamonds on Neptune and the magnetic field is about 27 times more powerful then earths. Neptune's winds are nine times stronger than earth's strong winds.
