History of Avignon
The Popes made Avignon the capital of the Medieval western world in the 15th century. A papal territory up until the French Revolution, the city actually benefited little from the first Industrial Revolution. The area of the city is 25.01 mi², with a population of 91,283 (2007). there are not many apartments in Avignon. Avignon is great for biking, because of the many mountains and scenery.

The reviews here are great and the food here looks amazing! Its very upbeat but also very busy. Its recommended to get a reservation but that's completely okay with me. The service is great also, so I would love to go here.
