Last Three Days of School...

Here is the schedule for the last three days of the school year

Important Information

Wednesday's Faculty Meeting

We have a faculty meeting scheduled for May 4th. We've worked to make sure each meeting is beneficial and worthwhile and we just held a faculty meeting to complete our 3rd Quarter SIP update earlier this month. At this time we do not need to meet as a staff; therefore, the May 4th Faculty Meeting has been cancelled. Information that we will need to give you will be sent out via email, smore, or from Department Chairs. If you have something that needs to be shared or discussed, please contact Dr. Huff, Dr. James, or Dr. Lee.

Staff Appreciation Week

Here's the flyer:

Homework & Project Reminders:

As discussed at our faculty meeting, do not assign homework or long term projects during the week of May 2-6. Also projects are not to have "due dates" during MAP testing.

MAP Week CCC Activities

Just in case some of you cannot access the CC activity google doc, please see the following link:

Also, please remember that we are not supplying materials for these areas (aside from the Wii and the breakouts) so please be prepared! Thanks!

Excellence in Achievement

We will hold our second "Excellence in Achievement" recognition breakfast celebration for our 8th grade class. Students who have 11 quarters of Straight A's or three years of perfect attendance will be honored. It will be next Friday (May 6th) at 7:00 a.m. in the cafeteria.

Cell phones, tablets, and other electronic devices during MAP Testing

In an effort to provide a secure testing environment students will not be allowed to have cell phones, tablets, or electronic devices in the classroom during MAP testing, May 2-6. We will be reminding students each morning to turn all devices off and place these items in their lockers. Cell phones or other devices in the classroom could result in test invalidation and could have disciplinary consequences. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and for reminding your child(ren) to keep these items off and in their lockers.

MAP testing will be the week of May 2-6.
