Adding students to a class

CTS or Campus Instructional Specialist Can Complete:

Option 1: Moving Students Class To Class within one school


  1. Go to Users

  2. Students

  3. Search by students name

  4. Click on the Classroom name to the right of the student's name

  5. Find the student and click in the box, next to the student’s name, to select the student with a check mark

  6. Scroll to the top of the student list and click “Change Class

  7. Select the New teacher

  8. Select the New class

  9. Click Move

Option 2: Moving Students from one school to another in district

  1. Go to Classes

  2. Find the Class section to add the new student

  3. Click on the Add Student button under the section

  4. Scroll to the bottom

  5. Under Add an Existing Student type in the student's SIN number

    1. SIN numbers can be found in a report in TEAMS under: Unique State ID Listing

    2. Multiple students can be added at one time by separating the SIN with a comma.

  6. Click Search

  7. Find the student(s) and click in the box, next to the student’s name, to select the student with a check mark.

  8. Click Add Students

Teachers Can Complete:

Option 3: Teachers can add students to their own class if they exist at their campus already.

The teacher will need the student's 10 digit Unique State ID from Teams. The 10 digit Unique State ID can be found in My Report Profile>Unique State ID Listing. Depending on your Teams access, you might be able to view in elsewhere. However, with all this being said, your CTS has been given instructions to support TTM.
